Prior Thoughts: Thought the device was not a primary line of treatment.
Additional Thoughts: I knew some basics from a previous training, but did not
know how to utilize all the tools available and relate them to my current
Frequency of Use : One to two times a week.
New Concepts or Ideas:
- Protocols and facilitation techniques.
- Increased number of potential patients with whom the device could be
- Correct harness application.
Questions: My questions were answered completely.
What was Missing?
- Additional research.
- Educational opportunities.
- Low level.
Future Use: Yes, with improved confidence in their techniques.
Additional Comments: Would benefit from an annual refresher course as part of
inital training that brings new ideas or any changes/adaptations that Lite
Gait may have incorporated. Caseloads change regularly and a refresher may
initiate new treatment strategies and ideas for therapists. In our facility
staff also change often and training new staff on current equipment with
professionals would be beneficial.
