This question was posted following a video that demonstrated use of the LiteGait with FlexAble yoke open, over a trampoline to develop ankle control...

Aspen Kunisch from Denver, CO: Great intervention. Any good cheap/small alteratives if we don't have a trampoline? Thick foam could work sort of.

ANSWER: Foam probably would not provide the rebound that we rely on the trampoline to provide. Try a therapy ball that is very well-inflated. I have (once) used a soccer-target (elastic net) strapped to the base of the LG with an airex mat placed over it.

But I suggest trolling Craigslist for a trampoline. That’s where I got mine, for a total of $40.
