I've used kinesiotaping with treadmill training with good effect with my higher level patients.  These are the patients that may have "progressed" from the DF wrap described and have decent active control but who I'm a  little nervous about catching their toes when I challenge them with higher T-mill speeds.

Not specifically, not because I think it is a bad idea, more that the clients I tend to see require more input and assistance than kinesiotape provides at the ankle. I tend to use elasticized wraps (most often a roll of superwrap) to provide dynamic DF assistance while still allowing PF.
I anchor it around the forefoot, using a DF+ eversion pull from the lateral plantar foot to the medial proximal tibia, anchoring below the knee, and crossing to medial plantar foot in a “figure-8” pattern. I then provide any necessary assistance with clearance. If the stance limb achieves a trailing limb posture, the knee should flex in pre-swing, making clearance easier (using iliopsoas, as opposed to rectus femoris to flex the hip and advance the swing limb). Timing is key with this- premature initiation of swing kills it, so I usually assist with weight shift over the stance limb, not “letting up” on the weight bearing side until the limb has achieved a trailing posture with hip extension.

Have you tried kinesiotaping along with treadmill training?
